Internship Program

Trillium Farms has a number of large farm complexes housing flocks of egg-laying hens. Trillium is a committed member of the local community, providing jobs and other economic benefits in the communities where it operates. We purchase grain from area farmers and supplies from local businesses.

The majority of birds housed at Trillium are in contemporary housing. The farm has added colony housing to some sites, as well as a cage-free farm. Manure belt technology with air drying provides a better environment for farm workers and birds by removing manure daily from barns.

Since assuming operations of the Ohio Farms, Trillium’s leadership team has made significant improvements. State-of-the-art technologies are being added to enhance environmental protections, assure excellent care of flocks and ensure the safety of the eggs produced on the farms for consumers.

We have openings in our Production department for paid Internship positions. The ideal candidate will be able to work full time during fall, spring, or summer for an 8-12 week program. Interns will be exposed to the day to day operations of our layer pullet facility and bird production facility. Each intern will have 3-4 weeks hands on experience in these facilities. This program is designed to assist the intern in achieving a well-rounded experience in the egg industry.

Interested candidates should email a resume to resume@trilliumfarmsohio.com or stop in to our office at 738 West Coshocton Street, Johnstown OH 43031 to fill out an application. M.F.V.D  E.O.E
